Snow Leopard richtig installieren [Anleitung]

Da man immer ganz vorn dabei sein muss ;) hab ich mir mal vorgenommen Snow Leopard zu installieren. Hier eine kleine Anleitung für die es noch vorhaben oder zögern.

Ich hab selbst die Anleitungen verwendet. Hat alles einfach und gut funktioniert. Hab jetzt sogar 10 GB mehr Platz auf der Festplatte. Beachtet aber das einige Programme unter Snow Leopard nicht mehr funktionieren und ein Update brauchen.

PS. man brauchte keine Seriennummer oder sowas :)

1. komplettes System (Festplatte) auf externen Festplatte sichern

  • entweder mit Time Machine oder mit Carbon Copy Cloner
  • ich hab Carbon Copy Cloner verwendet
  • hat bei mir  bestimmt 5 Stunden gedauert (100GB)

2. USB-Stick vorbereiten (nur mit Snow Leopard Image)

  • hier ein gutes Tutorial wie man ein USB-Stick einrichte um von ihm Snow Leopard zu booten und dann zu installieren [Kann ja sein das dein DVD-Laufwerk kaputt ist ;) ]

3. Snow Leopard Installation selbst

  • hier ein paar Tipps zur Installation selbst. Wie man Speicherplatz spart und worauf man achten sollte

Emails und RSS in Mac mail organisieren

Müßt ihr euch auch durch eure Sidebar in Mac Mail scrollen um ein bestimmten RSS-Feed zu finden.

Nach kurzer Suche im Netz hab ich die Lösung gefunden.

In Mail ein RSS-Feed in der Sidebar anklicken und unten links auf das Plus klicken. Neues Postfach… auswählen. Namen für den Ordner eingeben und die gewünschten Feeds per Drag & Drop zuordnen.

Möchte man einen Ordner für wichtige Email’s erstellen, dann klickt man im ersten Schritt anstatt auf ein Feed, auf ein Emailpostfach. Unter Ort steht dann Lokal. Die wichtigen Email’s zieht man dann in den Ordner und sie werden so auf dem Rechner gespeichert.

Honorarempfehlungen für Designer

Es gibt ein Widget vom Bund Deutscher-Grafik-Designer [BDG]. Leider kann man keine Feineinstellungen vornehmen und bekommt so leider nur einen groben Richtwert. Für BDG-Mitglieder gibt es die Vollversion. Für ein paar Euro soll es später auch die Vollversion für Nichtmitglieder geben.

Zur Zeit ist das Widget noch in der Beta Phase.  Mehr Info’s HIER.

Die Firma Swiss-Development hat die Software

iFee vorgestellt. Die Software umfasst ca. 200 unterschiedliche Designleistungen für Designer und Kreative. Feineinstellungen für die einzelnen Designleistungen sind möglich (Schwierigkeitsgrad, Nutzungsart, Nutzungsgebiet, Nutzungsdauer und Nutzungsumfang). iFee gibt es zum Einführungspreis von 2,39 Euro im AppStore.
